Nighttime Hearts
Nighttime Hearts was created during the pandemic of 2020. It was a CCC year for me. Covid, Cancer and Chemo. All three made me crazy. But a COVID environment was about to redirect my concerns. Everyone zoomed into my apartment while Doordash delivered fine dining. Hand sanitizers became my new perfume. It was the time when consumers were the kings and queens of the day and the service industry creatively obliged. Unfortunately, this also caused a rise in the shopheads, druggies, the Amazon junkies. I am sure tele-therapy will soon follow.
I was plugged into a world that had no face nor physical touch. Without leaving my apartment, I went outside myself to look in. An interesting view. Three painting were born during that time. Their presence will never leave my collection. They live above everything that begins with the letter C.
